Frequently Asked Questions
Qurban Africa is a service operated by FAKT Impex Inc. to help customers arrange Annual Qurbani / Udhiyah, Aqiqah, Sadaqah Sacrifice, Nazar / Votive Sacrifice and related Islamic giving services through authorized operational teams and partners.
By placing an order, you appoint Qurban Africa / FAKT Impex Inc. as your Wakil or agent to arrange the selected service on your behalf. We procure, allocate, supervise, execute, distribute and report according to the selected service and operational conditions.
Qurbani / Udhiyah is the Eid al-Adha sacrifice performed during the permitted Eid days. Requirements may differ by madhhab. Please consult your local scholar if you need a personal ruling.
Many scholars state that Qurbani is required or strongly recommended for financially able Muslims, depending on madhhab. Your personal obligation depends on your circumstances and scholarly view.
Available products may include sheep, goats or cattle. A sheep or goat normally represents one share. A cow/bull/buffalo may be divided into up to seven shares where applicable. All animals should meet the service and Shariah eligibility requirements.
Aqiqah is a Sunnah sacrifice connected to the birth of a child. It is commonly two animals for a boy and one for a girl, though details should be confirmed with your scholar. It can usually be arranged year-round.
Sadaqah Sacrifice is a voluntary sacrifice or charitable giving intention, usually performed to seek Allah’s reward and benefit needy families. It is not limited to Eid unless you choose an Eid-related service.
Nazar is a vowed offering. If you made a vow, you should consult a qualified scholar regarding what is required and how it should be fulfilled. Qurban Africa can help arrange the operational service after you select it.
Yes, you may nominate another person or dedicate the reward according to your intention. Enter the correct nominated/certificate name and order notes at checkout.
Where operationally possible, the nominated name is used for allocation and intention. In high-volume or field conditions, exact verbal mention on camera may not always be practical. The order record and certificate remain tied to the nominated name.
Meat is distributed locally to eligible families, poor communities or beneficiaries selected by ground teams. International delivery of meat to the customer is not part of the service.
Unless a specific animal selection service is clearly offered, product images and animal descriptions are representative. Livestock may vary naturally in colour, size, horn shape, breed and exact weight.
If the selected animal type becomes unavailable due to supply, health, weather or logistics, we may substitute an equal or better suitable animal/service to fulfil the religious purpose.
We provide available proof through the customer dashboard and/or email/WhatsApp where possible, such as photos, videos, certificate and invoice. Field connectivity and privacy may affect timing and format.
Proof is uploaded after payment verification and service completion. Timing depends on schedule, location, field connectivity and admin processing. Rural areas may take longer.
No. Proof supports transparency and customer confidence, but religious validity depends on proper fulfilment of the sacrifice, not on the delivery of a photo or video.
Only enabled payment methods shown at checkout are available. These may include Stripe, ToyyibPay, PayPal, manual bank transfer or other options depending on admin configuration.
Online orders are paid when the gateway confirms successful payment. Manual bank orders are paid only after our team verifies the bank receipt/payment proof.
Cancellation and refund rights depend on timing, service type, payment status and whether livestock or funds have already been allocated. Please read our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Contact us immediately. We will try to correct it before allocation or completion, but late corrections cannot be guaranteed.
Yes, where enabled for the order, certificates and invoices are available after payment and/or completion status is confirmed.
Your payment supports the complete delivery of the selected service. This can include the animal or humanitarian item, local procurement, field teams, slaughter where applicable, transport, distribution, documentation, photos or videos, certificates, reporting and the operational infrastructure needed to deliver the service responsibly.
Yes. Qurban Africa has necessary operating costs such as payment processing, website and hosting, customer support, administration, accounting, compliance, security, monitoring, communications, fundraising and marketing. These costs help us operate and deliver services safely and consistently.
Not necessarily. The price covers the overall service and may include procurement, local logistics, field implementation, distribution, proof and reporting as well as necessary operational support. Unless a specific campaign states otherwise, we do not represent the full payment as the purchase cost of the animal or item alone.
Operational costs make it possible to receive and verify payments, maintain the website and customer dashboard, answer customer enquiries, coordinate field teams, keep records, manage compliance and security, monitor fulfilment and provide proof or completion updates.
Not at this time. Costs can vary by service, country, payment method, livestock or commodity prices, logistics and field conditions. We prefer to explain the real categories of programme and operational costs rather than publish a fixed percentage that may not accurately apply to every order.
No. Any calculator or Zakat information is general guidance only. Please consult a qualified scholar or local authority for your personal Zakat obligation.
